Higher and Degree Apprenticeship Event March 2021
Welcome to this year’s virtual event which has been designed to provide you with more information surrounding the landscape of Apprenticeships, particularly Higher & Degree Level Apprenticeships, as an opportunity for students to gain employment whilst studying for a degree, without incurring student fees or taking a loan.
We would recommend that you start with the presentation given by Anna Morrison, Director of Amazing Apprenticeships and who is an eminent expert in the field of Apprenticeships and works with both employers and training providers. Anna has provided our keynote address for this event since its inception and she always tailors this towards our students and locality.
A number of other companies have provided us with short films and weblinks to provide more information about their specific opportunities. KPMG is represented by Charlotte-Summer Bolton, a former student at SJL and she has included in her presentation her own experiences concerning the process of applying for a Degree Apprenticeship as well as her journey to date. Issy Harris is another former student of ours and she is studying for a Business Management Degree through L’Oreal’s Apprenticeship Scheme and she has also covered her valuable application experience in her presentation.
