Our BTEC media group were lucky enough to have an online Q&A workshop with professional actress Jasmine Hyde. Results Days and Start of Term Arrangements

Results days can be a nerve-wracking time but please be assured that, whatever your results bring, someone will be on hand in school to advise you.

Current Year 13

Results are available from the Sports Hall on Thursday 17 August at 8.00am to 10.00am.  We look forward to congratulating you on securing your place at university or that job you have lined up. However, if your results are a little disappointing and you need some advice about what to do next, please to the Sixth Form Centre after collecting your results, and the Sixth Form team will be on hand to help you.

Before you leave, please can you fill in your destination details, including university and course if you are moving on to higher education or employers name and job title if you are moving into employment.

Current Year 11 – Internal Students

Results are available from the Sports Hall on Thursday 24 August at 8.30am to 10.30am.  Your results envelope will contain a sheet outlining the start of term arrangements – please read this carefully. Some of you may get a note on your envelope asking you to come down to the Sixth Form Centre to discuss your results, if this is the case please do not panic, but please do not go home without speaking to someone.

If we are posting your results to you and you need to speak to someone on opening the envelope, please follow the instructions on the letter enclosed.

Current Year 11 – External Students

Once you have collected your results from your present school, please either bring your Statement of Results directly to us in the Sixth Form Centre, or scan your Statement and email to 6thformadmin@sjl.herts.sch.uk. The Sixth Form Centre will be open until 3.00pm on GCSE results day to confirm places. We cannot confirm your place until the Statement of Results is received. 

Students whose place is confirmed are invited into school to complete induction checks on Wednesday 1 September. Please come to the Sixth Form Centre at 2.00pm where you will be met by the Prefects team.

 

All Year 11 students, both internal and external students, joining the Sixth Form must complete the appropriate Holiday Homework before lessons begin.
