National Apprenticeship Awards

Posted on 29/01/2018

Last Thursday Headteacher, Claire Robins, had the privilege of being a guest of Mrs Honour-Jones, at the National Apprenticeship Awards, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

It was a fantastic evening with finalists from all over the country and we were delighted that Mrs Honour Jones achieved a highly commended prize for her work as an Apprenticeship Champion (although clearly we think she should have won!). This was in recognition of the careers programme that she has put together for 6th formers at the school including our Higher Apprenticeships Evening and the annual Careers Fair. I was particularly pleased that our MP, Bim Afolami, was able to meet Julie and hear about her work earlier this week and we hope he will be able to join us at this year’s fair.
