At SJL we also ensure that all of our students develop a solid understanding of global issues and the key factors that determine how the world is evolving so that they go on to become active global citizens who are well-equipped to make a difference. We are also particularly well known for our Sustainable Development work.

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is about preparing our young people for a lifetime of sustainable living whilst contributing towards sustainable communities and improving the environmental performance of the school.
