Deputy Headteacher

Evening Caretaker

FIXED TERM CONTRACT

H4 £18,126 - £19,817 pa including outer fringe 

5.5 hours per day Mon-Fri (4.00-9.30pm)

3 days will be considered for the right candidate

An opportunity has arisen for a reliable, experienced and enthusiastic person to join our premises staff on a 3 month fixed term basis. He/she will have responsibility for ensuring the school is ready for occupation and for locking up. They will provide a clean, healthy and safe environment for users of the school buildings and grounds.
 
The main purpose of this role is to carry out on site support to the school community facilitating extra-curricular activities and onsite visitors. Practical DIY skills would be advantageous.  You will be required to assist the Site team with general site maintenance duties. An ability to support the implementation of relevant policies including Health and Safety and CoSHH would be an advantage.
 
The successful applicant should be a good communicator and happy to work as part of a small team but also to work on their own initiative.  A flexible approach is very important.
